That was an interesting read about plagiarising! One thing is for sure… nobody could begin to try and make copies of your fine artwork 😉
DEFINITELY!!!
Love it, love it, loooooooove it! It’s witty, entertaining, AND makes you think. Couldn’t ask for more than that.
LOVE THIS! Everything in this post is true 🙂
Insurance should be a given. I can’t imagine driving around in a big, metal ticking time bomb without insurance. Even if you are an amazing driver, without insurance you are trusting everyone else on the road, too!
Haha, I like #1 and #8 the best. 🙂 I think if someone is reading pf blogs they’ve got to think about how the blogger is probably just a regular dude who’s trying to be helpful and trying to talk about his own lessons in pf, but isnt’ an expert. And even experts screw up anyway. So read everything and think about it all a lot. Mkae sure it makes sense!
I love number 7!! Almost everyone I know (especially here at work) probably fits in that category. Most aren’t even contributing enough to get the match. I hear cat food is tasty if you take out your dentures . . .
I love the visual format!
Like. A lot.
P.S. I’m going to start stealing your cartoons now. But don’t worry. I’ll erase a limb or eye or something so that it’s different and therefore not stealing — merely “inspiring.”
P.P.S. That dude sucks.
Great points! I would add arrogant, rude and demanding people.
This is hilarious! #3’s face is my favorite.
– People who overshare on Facebook.
*My soon to be sister-in-law took photos of her urinary tract infection pills and wrote on the caption “Guess what I got?” CRINNNGGGGEEEE*!
– When someone rushes or is super nonchalant about huge decisions in life like buying a house, getting married or having kids.
*Kids happen unexpectedly and if they step up and be great parents, woohoo! But I’ve seen some that put their children second to their own self.
*Or my friend’s parents who bought a $600k house on a 80k salary during the funky mortgage craze. SUPER CRINNNGGGGEEEE*!
Hahahaha, I laughed so hard about the UTI pill sharing.
Over sharing on Facebook is worse than over sharing in person. At least in person I hear it once and it’s over. On Facebook I have to see the over sharing every time I open it up.
I like it.
One of the things that makes me cringe is the $2,000 wheels on a $500 car. Ditto on “rental wheels” and “rental handbags” and other designer crap people can’t afford but delude themselves into believing you do by RENTING…. I do love the stick figure posts. Keep it up!
Crap, so blogging doesn’t make me an expert?
$10 for 50 tubs of peanut butter? Oh please, that’s an Extreme Couponer Wannabe… 😉
As for the plagiarism – WOW, I was on “twitter vacation” for a few days and look what I missed! I’d have found it eventually just cuz I love Nelson’s blog.
Freaking Awesome!
Love it!
Except here in Australia, the fancy car is always a $60,000 four wheel drive (SUV), and if you earn even a vaguely average income, you “deserve” an $800,000 house to go with the dumb car.
Haha, nice post! I liked the pictures!
Cool post! I always wonder if I’m contributing enough to my retirement lol…I don’t think 10% + 7% match is enough…
People who spend a lot of money on clothes that make them look homeless.
Guess I have been out of the loop. Didn’t realize anything about the Finance Fox controversy. That is truly terrible if you ask me.
On a more positive note, I usually read your blog for the pictures so I loved this post.
