One of them left me feeling like I had been cross-examined, on the stand. I had to counter all of her challenges to my ability to manage investments on my own. She was full of, "If this, then what?" scenarios, one after the other. The other person actually said to me on the phone, when explaining why she thinks 4.5% annually is the best return on money anyone can get at any time, "I wouldn't want to take a risk."
