@ Peter - I'm slowly working on the blog income. I'm focusing more on content and increasing my reader stats. I figure if I post good content and make a ton of friends the blog income should follow. I do have $73 in my google adsense account though. I plan to use all my blogging income for the blog (private web hosting, giveaways, etc).

@ Jake - Come on by and set the place ablaze, just give me a heads up so I can get some of my belongings (pictures, hard drive, tennis racket). And I wont be punching Sallie Mae in her boob as that may be sexual harassment...haha.

@ Money Beagle- Thanks! It's the readers encouragement that keeps me on track!

@ Dr. Faith- I really focus on my dining more than any other expense. I try to limit myself to dining out once a week and I cook all my other meals. I'm a pretty simple eater, chicken, beans, rice, salad, pasta, etc. Not dining out is really the key to taming the food expenses.

Man! $5,000 in one month, that is like a dream! =D

Way to go, I can't believe that you spend that little on food in San Diego. Just can't believe it at all!

One of my friends in San Diego considers it "inexpensive" if the meal costs only $10. Needless to say, when I lived there I typically didn't eat out with her very much. =)
